Utilizing the latest in integrated CADD/BIM (Revit) software and information sharing technology, our Design Team is electronically connected with each other ensuring uniform progression of the work on each Task Order.   On every project, we maintain regularly scheduled web-based video team meetings utilizing Microsoft Teams or GoToMeeting.  This allows us to update the progress of the work and perform quality control reviews of each discipline for accuracy and interdisciplinary coordination. All team members can electronically share their 3D model, cutsheets, product data or sketches to facilitate interdisciplinary communication. Prior to the completion of each design phase and submission to the government, we perform a detailed BIM clash detection to communicate potential design conflicts between each discipline. This approach fosters communication between and among all disciplines and improves quality by resolving conflicts “virtually” before they become potential “real world” construction obstacles.
