This project involved full planning, design and construction administration services for a new 141,000 square-foot elementary school. The facility was designed to accommodate 876 student stations with the capability to add approximately 16 classrooms at a later date. The school houses 380 individual rooms, including 37 primary classrooms and 16 intermediate classrooms. Also included are full music and art departments, food service, skills development lab, E.S.E. Department and a fully covered physical education building. Automobiles and bus traffic have total separation from the building.
The school has been dedicated to the late Bennett C. Russell, who was Santa Rosa County School District Superintendent for 20 years.
