7th Special Forces Group Project Hits the Street

United States Army, Special Operations Command (USASOC’s) 7th Special Forces Group Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) relocation project from Ft. Bragg, North Carolina to Duke Field near Crestview has advertised for construction and is slated for general contractors pre-qualified under the US Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOCs).

STOA Architects participated on the design of this multi-building project along with fellow architecture firms, Bullock Tice Associates and Hernandez-Calhoun International. The estimated $140 million project will bid in October, and bring an additional 5,000 families to the panhandle. The local contracting, banking, real estate, development and education communities will certainly be paying close attention to this project.
