STOA Architects provided project programming, design charrette, and architectural design services for this three-phase project which develops a 230,000 square-foot U.S. Space Missile Defense Command Administrative Office facility on a 20-acre site.

All three phases included 3-story office buildings, sharing a common auditorium and dining facility with a commercial kitchen. Parking and roadways were progressively developed with the construction phasing. The buildings are constructed of a structural steel frame with pre-cast concrete exterior. The concrete is detailed in a multi-colored stone motif, providing classical proportion and window openings. The facility is crowned with a copper standing seam metal roof. The entire development overlooks two major ponds, which are incorporated in a formal landscape plan providing orientation and identification to a large scale development. The facility includes primarily administrative spaces and computer laboratories supporting 834 people.
